FAQ
How and when can I speak to the Commissioners?
The Board of County Commissioners are part-time elected officials and therefore are not physically in the courthouse everyday. Their assistant can help you or put you in contact with a Commissioner. There are three public meetings each month where the Board is present and available to conduct business. To get on a future agenda, call 1-208-354-8775.
Why can't I meet with all three Commissioners in private?
Idaho Code 67- 2340 through 67- 2347 does not allow for the Board to meet in private to deliberate towards or make a decision. All decisions must be made in public. You are allowed to speak to a Commissioner one-on-one and you are encouraged to do so.
