The Comprehensive Plan will guide land use patterns in Teton Valley for the next twenty years. The Comprehensive Plan is a document that states a community's values, vision for itself, and goals for its future.  The Plan is reliant upon broad public input to be truly representative of public interests and desires. 

A LOOK BACK ON THE PUBLIC PROCESS:

  • May 17, 2010 - Official Comp Plan Kick-off Meeting
  • Spring/Summer 2010- Plan for Planning met every other week to
    create plan-development strategey 6 Months
  • October 13, 2010- Comp Plan Block Party, events in Tetonia, Driggs and Victor
  • March, 2011- Team 2020, Harmony Design & Engineering, hired to facilitate plan development
  • April, 2011 - May, 2012  Committee work and public outreach 13 Months
         - 60+ volunteers
     - 1,800+ hours of committee meetings
     - Countless hours of prep, open houses, plan van, outreach meetings
  • July 10-11 - Public Hearing with PZC

  • August 23-24 - Public Hearing with BOCC- APPROVAL
