Temporary Weigh Master (Starting Wage - DOE 18.88)

Teton County Solid Waste is in need of an individual to fill the position of Weighmaster. This is a temporary opening starting November 15 2022 to February 21 2023. This is a full or part time position. Full time is prefered. The temporary position does not include benefits or insurance.

The principal function of an employee filling this position will be to weigh vehicles according to State laws, perform initial screen of loads for prohibited materials and collect fees; provide clerical and administrative support for the Solid Waste division; perform data entry and provide effective customer service.

The principal duties of this class are performed in a scale house and general outdoor environment, exposing the employee to hazardous working conditions and inclement weather.
