Title: Criminal Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for ASAP Start - Flexible Arrangement

Announcement: The Teton County Office of the Prosecuting Attorney seeks two attorneys to assist with the prosecution of criminal cases, to start ASAP.  The hourly commitment is negotiable, but can be up to full-time work.  One position requires significant criminal trial experience, and preference will be given to candidates with experience prosecuting homicide and death penalty cases.  The other position is available to more junior attorneys, although preference will be given to candidates with prosecution and trial experience.  Pro Hac Vice admission to the Idaho Bar is possible for qualified candidates.  Compensation will be commensurate with experience, starting at $100 per hour.  A salaried position with benefits may be possible for interested candidates, subject to discussion with the Prosecuting Attorney and approval by the Board of County Commissioners.  Interested applicants may contact Prosecuting Attorney Bailey Smith with any questions regarding the positions, she is happy to have an informal discussion.  To apply, please send a cover letter, resume and list of references to Teton County Prosecuting Attorney Bailey Smith at baileysmith@tetoncountyidaho.gov.  Transcripts, writing samples and other materials will be considered if provided.
